The Block is Finished and IN (Part 2)
In this bit I was able to get things wrapped up with the block. Im going to get other specs taken care of once its in, but for now, I'm glad to have the heavy lifting done. Getting the Block Together (Part 1)
I had just put the case together, but now I needed the block all in one piece. The VW engine rebuild was mostly due to the cylinders and the pistons being badly damaged from wear and rust. These new 90.5mm pistons and cylinders will fit nicely. Now with a bore of 90 and a stroke of 78.5mm, this will be a little torque monster. The Beginning
A quick intro for this first post and those following it: I purchased a 1971 VW Super Beetle almost 4 years ago.
